Occupational Hygiene Australia has all of the required portable testing equipment, which means we can come to your workplace anywhere and anytime to conduct Audiometric Hearing Tests in a room on site.

 

In WA mining and other workplaces, exposure to hazardous noise is a significant health risk, making Audiometric Hearing Testing an essential part of workforce protection. Under the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022, mine operators must provide baseline and periodic audiometric testing for workers who are required to wear hearing protection as part of their role. Audiometric hearing testing helps identify early signs of noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) and ensure hearing conservation programs are effective. Testing is conducted in accordance with Australian Standard AS/NZS 1269 – Occupational Noise Management, which outlines requirements for monitoring, assessment, and worker protection.
